Julianne Adams Birt, MD, affectionately known as "Dr. Ju", a distinguished advocate for women's health, boasts twenty years of medical experience as the Founder and CEO of Radiant Women's Health in metro Atlanta. Originally hailing from Harrisburg, PA, she made her mark after matriculating at Clark Atlanta University in 1991. Dr. Ju, a graduate of Morehouse School of Medicine, became the first black female physician to complete Allegheny General Hospital's Ob/Gyn residency program in Pittsburgh, PA, in 2005. Known for her personable approach, and an ensuing passion for entrepreneurship, Dr. Ju has exponentially developed her practice, focusing on educating patients in the exam room.

Dr. Ju's passion for women's health, particularly female sexual health, led her to advocate before the FDA and U.S. Congressmen for sexual health equity. Dr. Ju has served as an advisor and speaker for pharmaceutical companies, presenting at national and international meetings. Through her platform, Dr. Ju Delivers, she champions wellness for women in local schools, churches, and community forums.

Dr. Ju's leadership extends from local to national roles such as the 2017 President of the Atlanta Medical Association (ATLMed) and the subsequent year as Chairman of the board. Because of her philanthropy, she was selected to the board of the Heritage Fund of the Atlanta Medical Association, has successfully chaired its signature fundraising gala since 2020 and was instrumental in the establishment of an endowment for minority medical student scholarships. She has served on the board of the Georgia State Medical Association (GSMA) since 2017 and will be installed as the 2025-2026 President. She diligently served for six years as one of fifteen physicians nominated to the Council on Concerns of Women Physicians for the National Medical Association (NMA) and in 2023 was chosen as the Council chair during it's 40th Anniversary. Her dedication and diligence has not gone unnoticed and the current NMA President selected her to serve on the Council on Clinical Practice.

A graduate of the Georgia Physician Leadership Academy, Dr. Ju has served as a member of the Diversity Taskforce with the Medical Association of Georgia (MAG). Her commitment to the community extends to volunteer roles as a pregnancy center medical director and Assistant Professor of Community Medicine for Mercer University School of Medicine. Dr. Ju is fluent in American Sign Language and for thirty years has volunteered as an interpreter for the Deaf. Dozens of her patients can rely on her capability to speak their language without the aid of a third-party interpreting for them. Crediting her mother who inspired her servanthood and sisterhood, she is a Life Member, with over thirty years in the illustrious Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. In February 2023, she was introduced during the Georgia State Legislative Sessions to both houses as the Doctor of the Day.
Being recognized by her peers for her diligence in her practice and in the community is an honor. She received the 2015 ATLMed Young Physician of the Year, the 2019 GSMA Distinguished Service Medallion, and the GSMA Presidential Commendation in 2020, 2021 and 2023. Most recently she was recognized by the ATLMed outgoing president for her ongoing support while she served her tenure. Beyond her professional endeavors, Dr. Ju passionately embraces her role as a wife to native Atlantan, Tim Birt, and a mother in a blended family of six, finding joy amidst the challenges of juggling her practice, community endeavors and leadership commitments.
